Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Education in Counseling, and I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up as your whole self—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.

My approach is warm, honest, collaborative, and deeply client-centered. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, OCD, difficult family dynamics, relationships, and nervous system regulation. My work is informed by CBT, DBT, trauma-focused approaches, play and sand tray therapy, and a person-centered lens.

I’m especially passionate about creating affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ clients, women, and people navigating identities or experiences that haven’t always been understood or respected in traditional mental health spaces. My Indigenous heritage also influences the way I think about healing, connection, identity, and the importance of seeing people as more than a diagnosis.

In our work together, you can expect compassion, authenticity, humor when it fits, and someone who will both sit with you in the hard moments and cheer you on as you build the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, honest, and deeply client-centered. I don’t believe therapy should feel cold or clinical. I’ll meet you where you are, sit with you in the hard moments, celebrate your wins, laugh with you, and gently challenge you when it can help you grow.

I work from a trauma-informed and person-centered lens, with a strong focus on understanding the nervous system and helping clients feel safer and more regulated in their bodies. I draw from CBT, DBT, trauma and grief work, mindfulness, play therapy, and sand tray, adapting our work to what actually fits you rather than expecting you to fit a particular approach.

I especially enjoy working with trauma, anxiety, OCD, difficult family dynamics, relationships, identity, boundaries, and life transitions. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, body-inclusive, and grounded in intersectionality. Above all, I want therapy to be a space where you can be fully yourself without judgment.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and making sure you feel comfortable. You don’t have to walk in knowing exactly what you want to work on, and you definitely don’t have to unpack your entire life story in one hour.

We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been feeling difficult, what you hope might be different, and what you need from me as your therapist. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about the work ahead. Therapy is your space, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
