Great to meet you!

I grew up in the Chicagoland area, earned my bachelor's degree at the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and earned my PsyD from Adler University in Chicago. I completed advanced clinical training within large federal healthcare systems throughout graduate school and residency, where I received intensive experience in evidence-based psychotherapy and psychological assessment. My background includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, mood concerns, and high levels of stress.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in treating trauma-related concerns, OCD (using Exposure and Response Prevention), depression, anxiety, life transitions, burnout, and stress management. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and other evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual’s needs.

My style is warm, collaborative, and active! I deeply listen while also helping clients identify patterns, develop skills, and move toward greater confidence and stability.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply the beginning. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll start by getting to know each other and talking about what is bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, your strengths, and what feels most important to focus on right now.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and this first meeting is about taking those initial steps together. We’ll begin identifying your goals and what meaningful change would look like for you. Just as importantly, this is your opportunity to see how it feels to work with me. A strong therapeutic fit matters, and I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and confident moving forward!
