I am from Houston and received my BS degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University. I then went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon in 1995. At the U of O I had the honor of counseling veterans suffering from PTSD and childhood trauma.
Interactive, engaged in my client's process and directive when necessary. I like to create a warm and open environment to learn about my client's background and together we develop a plan to deal with their issues.
I endeavor to help my client's feel more hopeful about the future and confident that we can find solutions. I encourage my clients to be motivated, so we establish a practical way forward.
