Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm glad you're here! My name's Rebecca, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with LGBTQ+ identifying or questioning individuals, who are healing from trauma, depression, and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered and empowering approach to therapy. My goal is to help you find long term solutions and develop skills to navigate challenges on your own, so that you're not dependent on therapy forever. This involved recognizing your existing strengths (even if it feels like you don't have any!), and leveraging them to find strategies for growth that work for you.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session can be intimidating! We'll start by talking about what led you to schedule the session, what you've already tried to make the situation better, and what you're ultimate goals are. There will be some questions about your history that I have to ask, but there is no pressure to share any more details than you feel comfortable with. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you are in the driver's seat.
