A bit about my approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. She teaches clients practical strategies to shift their thinking, manage anxiety and depression, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. CBT provides a structured, goal-oriented framework that empowers clients to make lasting changes in their lives.

Alongside CBT, I also used the Person Centered Therapy approach emphasizing a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to express themselves freely. I believe in the importance of active listening and unconditional positive regard, allowing clients to explore their feelings without fear of judgment or criticism. This helps build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and respect.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect a nonjudgmental environment while working on self-discovery and insight. Additionally, clients will learn tools help manage their emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. This might include things like mindfulness exercises, thought reframing, or relaxation techniques.
