Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor in Texas, my mission is to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals and families of all ages. I specialize in EMDR therapy using the state-of-the-art equipment to assist clients in processing painful situations or memories. I am committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of life, whether facing real-life anxiety, subconscious anxiety, depression, grief, bullying, parenting struggles, relationship challenges, divorce, or any other major life transitions. I am a second-year Ph.D. student in Counselor Education and Supervision, specializing in multicultural and social justice (MSJCC) and mental health equity/disparities.

I have worked licensed in Texas for 8 years with professional work experience, which includes my work as a certified school counselor and student advocate, licensed professional counselor associate, and currently a Texas licensed professional counselor. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seek a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

My approach to therapy

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients are encouraged to explore their experiences, develop a deeper sense of self, and move toward healing and empowerment. Through personalized treatment plans that integrate Narrative/Talk therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered approaches, and Existential Therapy, I work collaboratively with clients to identify limiting patterns, strengthen resilience, and foster meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they are seen, heard, and respected. Together, we work to uncover patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. My approach is collaborative and rooted in empathy. Whether we're addressing past trauma, current stressors, or future uncertainties, clients leave sessions with greater self-awareness, healthier coping strategies, and a renewed sense of direction and hope.
