Great to meet you!

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandeis University and my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. My professional background includes working with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of clinical settings, which has given me experience supporting people through many different challenges and life transitions.

I provide trauma-informed and strengths-based care and work with clients navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem, life changes, and feeling emotional overwhelmed.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, and is focused on creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood. I believe that therapy is a very collaborative journey. Something isn't feeling helpful or hasn't helped in the past? Tell me, I want to hear about it all! You are the best expert in you. Therapy should be a place where you can feel safe to show up exactly as you are. It is my hope in our work together and we will identify and build upon tools that actually feel helpful in everyday life!

My approach to therapy

I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up fully as yourself. My approach combines Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), blending empathy and connection with practical tools to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns. Together, we'll identifying strategies for managing your stressors, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and increase your confidence navigating life's unpredictability. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, emotionally exhausted, or simply needing a space to breathe and process, I’m here to support you.

What you can expect from me

I know starting therapy and meeting with a new person can feel intimidating. I am so glad that you are reading through bios to find a provider that feels like a good fit, and that you are taking a step towards reaching out for the support you need, That is huge.

From the time we first meet, I will try to make the process feel as safe, supportive and comfortable as possible. Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and start creating a sense of trust, and defining our work together as a space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself. We’ll talk more about what brought you to therapy, what’s been feeling challenging lately, and what you’d like to get out of our work together.
