Great to meet you!

I look forward to the possibility of working with you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am a warm, collaborative therapist. I attune to my clients in their journey of healing using an integrative and trauma-informed approach. My focus is on creating a non-judgmental trusting space for my clients to work with me as we explore their challenges. I specialize in working with adults going through life transitions, for example, personal growth, jobs, relationships, anxiety, depression, grief, and aging. I work compassionately with individuals who have just received a cancer diagnosis or are going through treatment, also those who have experienced trauma including PTSD and Complex PTSD. I blend proven therapies, EMDR, Somatic Integrative work, and Motivational Interviewing to assist my clients.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy

We each have our own timing and experiences that bring us to the point of seeking help and clarity. My approach is humanistic, interactive, and unique to your needs. With care and compassion, I listen very carefully and attune to what you are saying. I consider my relationship with you to one of growing trust. Through listening, mutual feedback, and using therapeutic methods, we will create a space for you to gain insights and awarenesses that mark the beginning of healing and change, but never faster than feels safe.

What you can expect from me

What you can expect from our first session

I always start with an introductory meeting. You will have the opportunity to share why you are seeking therapy and what you hope to achieve, also we can work together to figure this out. I will let you know my background, how I can help you therapeutically, and answer any and all questions you may have. From this meeting, if you feel comfortable that my approach to therapy would help, we will begin our sessions to help you toward healing.
