Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Rebecca. My experience in healthcare and hospital settings has centered on supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging experiences and transitions. As a therapist, I provide warm, compassionate, and collaborative care for adults facing serious illness, end-of-life experiences, relationship concerns, and life’s many stressors. I also have a special interest in working with caregivers and healthcare professionals experiencing compassion fatigue and the unique demands of caring for others. I hold an MSW from Columbia University and have developed my clinical experience through hospice social work and my ongoing role at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where I work with patients and caregivers as they navigate the emotional and practical realities of cancer.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and explore your experiences openly. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I tailor my approach to where you are and what you hope to gain from therapy. I also bring warmth and humor into my work, recognizing that even in difficult moments, there can be room for laughter and lightness.

What you can expect from me

Therapy can offer a meaningful space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what matters most. Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another, talk about what’s been on your mind, and begin identifying what you hope to gain from therapy. I like to think of therapy like a dance— at first, we’re learning each other’s rhythm and finding our footing. Over time, trust builds, the steps become more natural, and we can find our way toward meaningful change.
