Hello and welcome! I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) with over 6 years of experience supporting individuals and couples. My approach to therapy is compassionate, trauma informed and inclusive. I provide in-person sessions in Rochester, NY and telehealth sessions in NV. If you are new to therapy or are looking to restart, I welcome the opportunity to support you.
Guided by trauma-informed principles, I will work collaboratively with you. I offer a variety of evidence-based treatment options to meet your needs. My work is inspired by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory and our nervous system. I integrate perspectives from Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) as well as Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I am trained in EMDR and am certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). My hope is that our work together leads you to more clarity and connection within yourself and in your relationships.
As my client you can expect me to be non-judgmental, collaborative and an engaged listener. I will ask thoughtful questions, provide psychoeducation and bring my clinical expertise to help support you.
The first few sessions will include goal setting, getting to know you and determining what our work together will look like. Depending on your preference, I may give you homework or things to practice at home between sessions.
