Great to meet you!

Perhaps, you feel stuck in an exhausting cycle of overthinking, self-doubt, and lack of control. Or you feel disconnected from a clear personal meaning or purpose. I have been a licensed clinical social worker since 2007, and have had the opportunity to work with adults navigating depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and the weight of major life changes. I'm here to support your journey with warmth, respect, and commitment to your growth through the development of coping skills and behaviors that promote forward momentum toward a life aligned with your values.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in compassion. I create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can explore complex feelings to reach your goals. I draw from evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), and Social Skills Training (SST) to support meaningful insight and sustainable change at your own pace. My work is informed by a person-centered philosophy—I believe you are the expert of your own story, and my role is to walk alongside you with genuine care and curiosity. I am a committed lifelong learner, and actively pursue the most updated treatment methods and skills. I am currently working towards becoming a certified mindfulness-

informed professional (CMIP). I strongly believe in continuity of care with each session a building block toward achieving your therapy goals. Therefore, I maintain a small practice of clients to be able to offer weekly live sessions when we begin working together (but can be less frequent based on client's ability and preference).

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will exchange information to ensure your comfort to move forward working together. You can expect this meeting will be about 60 minutes and will include gathering information such as your health history, daily routine, and support systems. Centering on your strengths, I will provide support to identify your therapy goals, and together, form a shared plan of manageable steps to achieve these goals.
