Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from Temecula, CA. After graduating University of Phoenix, I worked for nonprofits, building resilience through community education, program management, and direct clinical services. Throughout life, our experiences separate us or bring us closer to the best version of ourselves. Everyone has the ability to bring together the whole of who they are. Some experiences can create blocks that are too difficult for us to work through on our own. Perhaps you need more support with the stresses of daily living, working through a situational challenge, or some of your biggest hurts. I am married and a mother of 4 boys. I use art, faith, music, nature, friends, and professional counseling in my own healing journey. I am authentic, creative, and dedicated. As someone who has personal and professional experience, my purpose is to create more connection and clarity to who we were created to be. My goal is to honor where you want to go from where you have been and how you are living now.

My approach to therapy

I work with developing wellness through easy-to-learn skills based on the biology of the body and neuroscience. I have specialization in the somatic approach to treatment. This approach can be helpful if you have noticed that talking about what you have lived through, or worried about, is too overwhelming. This approach can be helpful if other approaches haven’t been working or need something else added to it. I am certified in the Trauma Resiliency Model and Community Resiliency Model. I have training in the Comprehensive Resource Model. I also use CBT, Solution Focused, and Christian based counseling often in my practice.

What you can expect from me

In your first session you can expect to have conversation with someone who has genuine care and consideration for your healing journey. I value offering practical solutions for daily struggles as well as establishing goals collaboratively for deeper healing.
