I was raised in Western Nebraska on our family farm. I am a Christian, mother and grandmother. I love animals, hiking, church, family time and music. I am familiar with the Mid-Western culture and traditions, including waving to strangers, helping those in need, and putting others needs over my own. I am board certified in both primary care and psychiatric mental health. I prioritize staying on schedule and I respect your time as much as my own.
I believe that the key to a sound mind is the incorporation of the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of each client. I focus on self direction, goal setting, tool identification and implementation, and the use of medication when necessary to reach optimal health. I am the type of provider who prioritizes active listening, encouraging my patients to have a say in their care and approach care as a partnership between my patient and myself. Together, we will find a unique and personally tailored treatment plan that will produce the best outcome for your overall wellbeing.
Your first visit will be a little longer than your subsequent visits, as we will be reviewing your medical and psychiatric history, social history, allergies, and other pertinent information. We will take some time to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit for future treatment.
