Great to meet you!

Whether you’re dealing with a long-standing struggle or a new crisis, finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. I offer a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel supported from the start. Whatever you’re carrying, we’ll work through it together and find a path forward that helps you feel better.

My approach to therapy

I began my career working with children and teens in school settings, and over time expanded my work to young adults, older adults, couples, and families. I’ve had a strong focus on neurodivergence and ongoing support for the LGBTQIA+ community throughout my career. Since the early 1990s, I’ve worked in inpatient psychiatry, K–12 schools, private practice, and more, first as an art therapist, then as a school social worker, and now in private practice.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other, and there’s no pressure to share more than feels comfortable right away. We’ll also review confidentiality, its limits, and key practice policies so you know what to expect. As our relationship grows, I also offer communication between sessions to help you stay supported, encouraged, and focused on your goals.
