Great to meet you!

Most people don’t come to therapy because everything is going smoothly. They come because something feels heavy, confusing, or stuck—and they’re tired of trying to figure it out on their own.

I’m Rebecca, a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings an energetic, direct, and compassionate approach to therapy. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, relationship challenges, family conflict, stress, ADHD, identity concerns, and life transitions.

My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported while also being encouraged to grow. Therapy with me is not about judgment or “fixing” you—it’s about understanding your story, identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and building practical tools that help you move forward with more clarity and confidence.

You don’t have to show up with the right words or a clear plan. We figure it out together.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, energetic, and straightforward. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to make meaningful change.

I use an integrative approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused techniques. In our work together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and experiences are connected—and how they may be influencing your current challenges.

Whether you're dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, grief that feels overwhelming, trauma that still shows up in your daily life, or relationship patterns that feel hard to break, we’ll focus on both understanding what’s happening and building tools to help you respond differently.

Therapy with me is collaborative. I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on what brought you to therapy and what you hope life feels like on the other side of this work.

You don’t need to have everything figured out ahead of time. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in cycles that repeat, or unsure how to move forward. That’s exactly where we start.

Over time, clients often notice:

  • Reduced anxiety and emotional overwhelm
  • Healthier coping strategies during stress
  • Greater self-awareness and emotional clarity
  • Improved relationships and communication
  • Healing from grief, trauma, or past experiences
  • Increased confidence and a stronger sense of direction

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can be fully yourself—and leave each session feeling a little more grounded, understood, and capable than when you walked in.
