Great to meet you!

Sometimes the past feels too close, or our thoughts spiral in ways we can’t seem to stop. Sometimes sadness or worry becomes a constant companion. My role is to support you on this journey, helping you navigate these challenges and discover new ways forward. Because of my own life experiences, I realized early on how meaningful it is to be there for others when they need it most. With over 15 years of experience in Social Services, I bring both deep compassion and practical expertise to my work as a therapist. From my early days as a social worker, I witnessed both the weight of hardship and the strength of the human spirit. These experiences inspired me to become a therapist, committed to guiding clients toward growth, healing, and self-discovery. Therapy can help you move beyond difficult experiences and step into a life that feels more balanced, connected, and fulfilling. I believe healing is not only possible, it’s within your reach!

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique journey. I believe you already carry strengths and resources within you, and together we’ll uncover and build on them. I tailor each session to your needs, drawing from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused work, Polyvagal Theory, Gender Affirming Care, and Motivational Interviewing. I integrate these methods both formally and informally, creating a flexible, collaborative process. I also enjoy sharing practical resources and education to support your growth beyond our sessions. Whether you need gentle support or direct feedback, I’ll meet you where you are, always honoring your right to make your own choices. I value authenticity and connection, and I’m not afraid to share a laugh when it feels right. I see our work as a collaborative conversation that unfolds naturally, guided by trust and mutual respect.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so our first session is all about creating comfort and trust. We’ll talk about what’s on your mind, what you’d like to work on, and how I can best support you. You set the pace, and I’ll meet you with empathy, understanding, and respect.
