Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida. My clinical training included an internship at an alternative school, and I have continued to work in school settings as a school social worker, providing therapy to children and adolescents.

In addition to my work with youth, I have experience providing outpatient counseling to individuals involved in foster care and the child welfare system, as well as working with parents and caregivers. I also have clinical experience supporting adults, including work with pregnant women navigating substance use and related life stressors. I frequently support clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and I approach this work from a trauma-informed and strength-based perspective.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and relationship-based. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, supported, and actively involved in the therapeutic process. I work alongside clients to help them build resilience, develop effective coping skills, and form healthier relationships, while also being direct when needed to support growth. I am flexible and client-centered, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs, goals, and values.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying what you hope to gain from the process. There is no pressure to share everything at once, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and working collaboratively to clarify goals, explore strengths, and begin identifying coping strategies that support emotional safety and stability.
