Great to meet you!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist who is passionate about helping women feel supported, empowered, and understood through pregnancy, postpartum, pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and other major life transitions. With more than six years of experience, I use trauma-informed counseling, expressive therapies, and approaches such as TF-CBT and EFT to create treatment that is tailored to your needs. I am also trained as a birth and postpartum doula, which gives me a holistic understanding of women’s health and well-being. My own experiences with full-term loss, miscarriage, and pregnancy complications deeply shaped my path to becoming a therapist and strengthened the empathy I bring to this work. I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and free of judgment—a space where you can process difficult emotions, reconnect with your strengths, and actively participate in your healing. My multicultural experiences, including living in East Africa and being part of an Ethiopian family, also inform my communal and culturally responsive approach to care.
