Great to meet you!

I am a New York-based psychotherapist with my MSW from New York University. I have worked in various settings, including inpatient forensic psychiatry, telehealth, social services, higher education, and private practice. I have experience treating adjustment, mood, psychotic, and anxiety disorders. I also have experience working with survivors of sexual trauma, as well as clients struggling with PTSD and Acute Stress Disorder.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic. I feel strongly that each person benefits from a customized practice that may draw from multiple modalities. I may begin from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) foundation, and I will utilize Supportive and Strengths-Based Psychotherapy, and Existential Psychotherapy, depending on client needs/preferences.

What you can expect from our first session

My overarching goal as your therapist will be to help you notice how you are currently living your life, and whether or not this aligned with what you feel is truly important to you. After our first session, you can expect to feel heard and supported. I encourage candor, collaboration, and feedback, in the rewarding and challenging work we will do together.
