Great to meet you!

As a psychotherapist, I believe that prioritizing mental health is an essential part of creating happiness, balance, and stability in life. Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps, so I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to begin this journey. With more than 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a compassionate, thoughtful, and experienced approach to therapy. Over the past 15 years, I have focused primarily on working with adults ages 18 and older, providing therapy for individuals and couples.

My goal is to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and valued. I strive to help each person feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while building the tools and confidence they need to navigate challenges. Through this process, I hope to empower clients to make meaningful changes, strengthen their resilience, and move toward greater balance, healing, and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person has a unique story, and therapy should reflect that. My approach is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful progress happens when you feel seen, heard, and respected. From the start, my goal is to create a supportive space where you can show up as you are and feel comfortable being open about your experiences, challenges, and goals.

If we decide to work together, we’ll approach therapy as partners in your journey. I value open communication and a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect. I’ll take the time to understand your perspective, listen with care, and help you explore the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be shaping your life.

At the same time, therapy is not only about feeling supported—it’s also about growth. I will gently challenge you when needed, encourage reflection, and help you build insight and practical tools that support lasting change. Whether you’re navigating stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, I aim to provide a space where you can feel empowered, supported, and encouraged every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Our work together begins with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and talk about what you hope to achieve in therapy. I aim to create a warm, welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable opening up, being vulnerable, and knowing that you are supported in a safe and secure space. During this process, we’ll begin identifying the challenges you’re facing, exploring patterns that may be affecting your well-being, and clarifying the goals that matter most to you. I want therapy to feel like a collaborative and thoughtful process that is tailored to your individual needs and pace. From there, we will continue building on your goals in future sessions, working together to create meaningful progress and lasting change.
