Great to meet you!

Over my 27 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I’ve worked across a variety of settings; including educational systems, private practice, and crisis response.

Whether you are going through major life transitions, managing anxiety, depression, family turmoil, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I am dedicated to helping you discover your strengths and practical tools for growth.

This diverse background allows me to meet clients with deep empathy and a versatile set of tools, whether we are navigating acute stress, family dynamics, or long-term personal growth. I draw from these rich experiences to offer grounded, adaptable, and practical care tailored to each individual and family I serve.

My approach to therapy

  1. I meet my clients where they are, creating a safe, relational therapeutic space where trust and real healing can happen. As a certified TBRI® Practitioner, my work is grounded in attachment- and trauma-informed care. Drawing on my background in education, I integrate Solution-Focused strategies to provide practical tools for everyday challenges. Furthermore, as a clinical supervisor who trains emerging mental health professionals, I draw from a wide range of evidence-based theories to flexibly meet each client’s unique needs.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about building rapport, creating a safe, comfortable space, and ensuring you feel completely at ease. I want to take the time to truly understand your story, your current challenges, and what you hope to get out of therapy. While establishing connection and trust is our top priority, our work together is also goal-directed. By the end of our initial session, we will begin identifying clear, practical outcomes so you leave with a sense of direction, relief, and a collaborative plan tailored to your needs.
