Great to meet you!

In the vast ocean of life, at times you may feel overwhelmed, scared, stressed, and alone. By seeking help today, you are embarking on a courageous journey of healing and recovery.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I offer clients over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families.

I have a unique professional history that allows me the privilege of working with a diverse population of clients. I have more than 10 years of experience in school-based therapeutic work with K-12 students. I am also qualified as a behavioral specialist to work with children who have unique learning, cognitive, and emotional needs. Within the corporate workplace, I operate as a certified organizational change management specialist. I conduct numerous training courses for thousands of employees throughout California. My webinars focus on the importance of work-life balance, emotional intelligence, OCM practices, and addressing difficult workplace challenges.

I am a proud military spouse and mother of children who currently serve in the U.S. military. It is an honor and privilege to provide therapeutic support to our military personnel, spouses, families, veterans and first-responders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

At Healing Tides, I specialize in providing a holistic environment that is collaborative, client-centered, and strength-based for clients ages 6 through adulthood. I utilize several therapeutic approaches to include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), self-regulation and mindfulness techniques, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, art and music therapy, and integrating somatic therapy interventions. In my therapeutic work, I often work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, family/relational conflict, grief, trauma, co-occurring disorders, and addiction disorders.

I believe that every person possesses an internal source of insight and wisdom that can be cultivated through the therapeutic journey. I applaud you on taking the first step towards growth, healing, and recovery. If you are interested in connecting further, I am available for a 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs and determine how we might work together.
