Great to meet you!

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts, emotions, or patterns of behavior, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Maybe you know something needs to change, but you’re unsure where to start or how to take that first step. I’m here to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and guide you toward meaningful, lasting change.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, working across outpatient, inpatient, residential, school-based, and military settings. This background allows me to support clients through a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, anger, and stress management. Together, we’ll create a path forward that feels clear, manageable, and aligned with your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and rooted in helping you feel empowered in your own life. I use a person-centered style, which means you are at the center of the process, we move at your pace while focusing on what matters most to you.

At the same time, I integrate evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. With this awareness, we’ll identify practical steps you can take to create real change. My goal is to help you feel more in control, confident, and equipped with tools that extend beyond our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but my goal is to make your first session feel comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, understanding what brought you in, and identifying what you’d like to change or improve.

From there, we’ll begin outlining a clear path forward so you leave with a sense of direction and hope. You don’t have to have everything figured out, just showing up is a powerful first step!
