Great to meet you!

Greetings :) My name is Regina. I’m a kind, thoughtful mental health practitioner who genuinely enjoys helping people overcome their respective challenges and become healthier versions of themselves.

I specialize in supporting clients navigating anxiety, trauma, cultural and ethnic concerns, women’s issues, mood disorders such as Bipolar I, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe in caring for the whole person and often consider spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being as part of the healing process. I offer therapy from a Christian perspective for clients who want faith incorporated into our work, while also welcoming and respecting clients from non-spiritual backgrounds. I currently offer both in-person and virtual sessions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, challenging, humorous, and solution-focused. I believe therapy can be a place where you feel supported while also being encouraged to look honestly at what may be keeping you stuck.

I incorporate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered and Faith-Based approaches when appropriate. Ultimately, I want to meet you where you are, understand where you want to go, and help you develop the insight, confidence, and practical tools to become the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

I create a safe and welcoming environment from day one. During our first session, I’ll introduce myself, review expectations, ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, and always leave room for you to ask questions too. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or where to begin.

You can expect me to be honest, encouraging, and engaged in our work together. I’ll continue reminding you of your courage and bravery in seeking support, while helping you recognize your strengths and take meaningful steps toward your goals. And always remember: you are, and have always been, enough :)
