Great to meet you!

With over 10 years of experience working in recovery centers, university settings, and private practice, I have extensive training in addictions and trauma. I am licensed in SC and GA. Currently, I am seeing adolescents and adults for individual sessions via teletherapy.

My approach to therapy

I value transparency and offer an atmosphere where clients feel free and safe to explore their own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I believe overcoming shame is foundational to helping clients make lasting changes. My approach to therapy combines the qualities of mindfulness, curiously observing in a nonjudgmental way, with other counseling techniques in an effort to provide quality care to my clients.

What you can expect from me

I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important elements in the counseling process. So much of therapy is about finding your fit, and you need to feel comfortable and safe to engage in this work. I provide a nonjudgmental and empathetic approach that allows me to connect with and walk alongside my clients. Teletherapy sessions are relaxed and informal, and my clients appreciate my approachability and sincerity (and, sometimes, my humor)!
