Regina Walker

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in the helping profession. I work with a diverse group of individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use issues.

I graduated from Texas Southern University in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and quickly pursued a Master's degree to follow my passion for assisting people from all walks of life. My priority is to establish a therapeutic relationship that helps clients achieve their goals.

My treatment approach is tailored to each individual's needs, utilizing strength-based, trauma-focused, cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques. I work with clients experiencing depression, substance use, and trauma, assisting them in developing new ways of thinking and behaving. Through motivational interviewing, I help clients identify their stage in the change process and facilitate their journey towards positive transformation.

My goal is to create a safe space for you to share your story. Many clients feel at ease with me from the first visit. Building rapport and trust is crucial to our work together. Listening to your full story is the first step in the healing process. We will discuss your expectations, set therapy goals, and move forward together towards your growth and healing.
