Great to meet you!

Welcome to Bienvenue Behavioral Health, where hope begins. I understand that reaching out for help can be one of the hardest steps, and my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you feel heard and supported.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 40 years of nursing experience and advanced training in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. My background spans a variety of healthcare settings, giving me a unique perspective on the connection between physical and mental health. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive psychotherapy, education, and collaborative treatment planning tailored to each individual's needs.

Whether you are seeking help for the first time or looking for a fresh approach to your mental health care, I am committed to partnering with you to develop a treatment plan that promotes healing, resilience, and lasting wellness. Together, we can take the next step toward helping you feel like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best mental health care begins with listening. Every person has a unique story, and I take the time to understand your experiences, concerns, and goals before developing a treatment plan. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based, combining medication management with supportive therapy, education, and practical strategies to help you feel your best.

I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in your care. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, addiction, or another mental health challenge, we'll work together to develop a personalized plan that supports lasting healing, resilience, and hope.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment. We'll discuss what brought you to treatment, your current concerns, your medical and mental health history, and the goals you hope to achieve. I'll take the time to listen, answer your questions, and ensure you feel heard throughout the process.

Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle recommendations, or referrals when appropriate. My goal is for you to leave your first session with a better understanding of your symptoms, a clear plan for moving forward, and, most importantly, a renewed sense of hope that positive change is possible.
