Great to meet you!
Hello, I am Dr. Reginald C. Blue. I received my B.S. degree from Kent State University, my M.A. degree from John Carroll University and my doctoral degree from The Ohio State University. With over 40 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of roles as a public-school teacher, school counselor, supervisor of special education programs, director of pupil personnel services, assistant principal and adjunct professor at the college level. Throughout my career, I have also maintained a private practice as a psychologist working with adolescents, adults, families and businesses.
My therapeutic style and approaches to providing therapy are eclectic but primarily solution-focused and cognitive behavioral in nature. I firmly believe in the power of collaboration and strive to work closely with my clients to empower them to realize their full potential to become the best version of themselves. As your therapist, my goal is to help you live a healthier, more fulfilling life through professional, innovative, practical, trusted, affordable and personalized mental health care. I fully understand that each client comes from a unique background and has varied needs. Thus, I am committed to effectively providing empathetic, culturally responsive mental health care that respects and addresses each individual's cultural background and life experiences.
Asking for help is one of the wisest and bravest things a person can do. Together, we can navigate life’s stressors, challenges and demands. Personally, I have been happily married for 28 years and the parent of a blended family of 6 adult children.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the possibility of partnering with you and supporting you on your journey to better mental health.
