I am a native of Florida and received my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Social Work from Florida International University. I have been given many opportunities to work with several populations including college-level students, elementary school students, adolescents, and adult clients with co-occurring(substance abuse and mental health) illnesses
I specialize in CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy while being able to integrate several different therapeutic approaches to assist the population being served. I also assist individuals in addressing depression, anxiety, unresolved trauma, low self-esteem, spirituality, substance abuse, and many more areas of concern. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about assisting individuals to make well-informed decisions and helping raise their overall quality of life.
By working together with the client is how I as a therapist can help empower my client to overcome not only the difficult situations that are presented at the time in meeting the present needs, but also provide tools to help with the future, using coping skills.
