Dr. Regine Chung, LPC (TX), LMHC (WA), RP (ON, Canada) is a Therapist, Consultant and Trainer at Minds in Action Counseling. She is a Registered Play Therapist, a Certified Trainer and Supervisor in evidence-based Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT-S/T) and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT-S/T).
Dr. Chung’s work has been recognized with the Dan E. Homeyer Play Therapy Research Grant Award and the Association for Play Therapy Student Research Award. She has also presented her work at various conferences, reaching an international and national audience.
With a doctoral degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas (UNT), Dr. Chung specializes in assisting neurodivergent individuals, addressing relational trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), anxiety, and cultural identity development.
Dr. Chung has extensive clinical experience in a variety of settings, including university clinics, domestic violence agencies, and both general and special education environments. She has worked with clients of all ages and from diverse cultural backgrounds, demonstrating her versatility and empathy in therapeutic settings.
