Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas with over seven years of experience supporting individuals living with severe and persistent mental health conditions. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and have worked extensively in both clinical and community-based settings.

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful recovery. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and respected as they explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Together, we work to identify patterns that may be limiting progress and develop practical skills that promote balance, resilience, and improved well-being.

I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based interventions. I believe lasting recovery is best supported through a combination of therapy, appropriate medication management when indicated, and the cultivation of self-awareness and self-belief.

My goal is to empower you to become the best version of yourself—to rediscover hope, build resilience, and move forward with confidence on your journey toward mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based. I use evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual’s needs, focusing on building insight, coping skills, and resilience. I work to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered to make meaningful, sustainable changes toward their goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we began with brief introductions and an explanation of the clinician’s role and the purpose of therapy. Confidentiality, limits of confidentiality, and the structure of sessions were reviewed, and the patient verbalized understanding.

The session then focused on exploring the patient’s primary concerns, current stressors, and challenges impacting emotional well-being. The patient was encouraged to share their experiences at their own pace, and active listening, validation, and supportive reflection were used to build rapport and establish a safe therapeutic environment.

Information gathered during this session will be used to better understand the patient’s needs, strengths, and goals. This initial assessment will guide the development of a personalized treatment plan to be addressed in follow-up sessions.
