Great to meet you!

Hello Beloved. I hope that you have come to therapy to heal and learn skills that will enhance your humanness. I often use humor throughout therapy and show up as my authentic self; Compassionate, full of empathy and patience.

The Academics: Doctoral in Counseling Education, Master of Arts in Counseling and two Bachelor of Science.

The Fun Stuff: I am a self-proclaimed food snob; I LOVE to travel all over the world and my community and family are my safe spaces.

My approach to therapy

As Psychotherapist, Massage Therapist, 200 Registered Yoga Teacher and Mindfulness facilitator; Dr. Ren found a sense of stillness, peace and transformation in her practices and her purpose is to share those with others.

Dr. Ren uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (your thoughts drive everything else), Solution Focused Therapy (let's get to the root and start healing) and Trauma Therapy (It's what happened to you, it's not who you are).

Also, through somatic practices (body-centered techniques) we can decrease anxiety, depression and stress. With this reconnecting with bodily sensations, one can start the healing process from trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression.

Dr. Ren is a strong proponent and creator of Revolutionary Self-Care techniques that teaches women to ‘take off the cape’ and develop a self-care practice that will restore their overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will entail going over your intake, background and your expectations from me and your therapy process (goals). I welcome questions so you can get a better understanding of what is to come.

I look forward to meeting you Beloved.
