Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental healthcare to individuals and families across the lifespan. My practice is grounded in holistic, patient-centered care that prioritizes safety, dignity, and collaborative decision-making. With a strong foundation in psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and trauma-informed practice, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where patients feel empowered, supported, and understood. I believe in advocating for equitable access to mental health services and in partnering with communities to reduce stigma, improve outcomes, and promote long-term wellness.

My approach to therapy

I work collaboratively with clients across the lifespan, taking time to understand the whole person—their mental health symptoms, medical history, environment, trauma exposure, stressors, strengths, and support systems. My style is calm, thoughtful, and direct, with an emphasis on clear education so clients understand why certain treatment options are recommended. I strongly value informed consent and shared decision-making.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel welcoming, unhurried, and grounded in respect. I know that starting care, especially mental health care, can come with anxiety or uncertainty, so my goal is to create an environment where clients feel safe, heard, and never judged.
