Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Personality Disorder Treatment Provider. I am licensed to work with clients who reside in Washington, D.C and Virginia. I work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, OCD, personality disorders, PTSD, stress, life transitions, interpersonal difficulties, and self-esteem concerns, amongst others. I genuinely care about meeting each person where they are, and I take pride in tailoring my support to fit a client's unique needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I draw on a variety of evidence-based interventions to best serve each individual I work with. CBT helps clients recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while DBT offers practical tools for managing emotions, tolerating distress, and strengthening relationships. I also utilize traum informed, culturally competent, and person centered perspectives. My approach is collaborative and flexible. I work with you to identify what is most helpful and adjust as we go.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a chance to connect. I will take time to understand what brings you to therapy, learn about your background, and hear what you are hoping to get out of our work together. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and with a sense of what our time together might look like. We will move at a pace that works for you, and I welcome any questions along the way.
