Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a background in community mental health and experience working with adolescents, adults, parents, and families. I earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling Psychology from Florida International University in 2024 and have been working in the mental health field since 2018.

My clinical experience includes anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationships, family dynamics, stress, and cultural identity, with training in several evidence-based approaches including CBT, TF-CBT, CPT, and Motivational Interviewing.

As a fully bilingual therapist (English & Spanish), I value understanding how culture, family, and personal experiences shape each person’s story.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a place to feel understood while also being a place to recognize your ability to create meaningful improvements in your life.

My approach is compassionate, validating, collaborative, empathetic and culturally responsive, drawing primarily from evidence-based approaches while integrating different modalities based on each client’s needs.

I see my role as a guide: I can offer perspective, tools, and gentle challenges, while you remain the person who knows yourself and your life best. Our goal is to help you develop greater understanding, confidence, and a sense of possibility as you move toward the changes you want to make.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, understand what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying what you hope to work toward. We’ll briefly discuss your goals, while allowing them to develop and become more specific as you build trust and gain a fuller understanding of your experiences. I strive to create a warm and comfortable environment where you can be honest, ask questions, and share at your own pace. From there, we’ll work together to develop a therapeutic process that feels meaningful and appropriate for you.
