Great to meet you!

I am an individual who truly cares about your well-being. I graduated with a doctorate degree from the University of Alabama and completed a rare 2-year fellowship program which was awarded a prestigious ANCC accreditation award of distinction. I have rotated through a multitude of mental health settings (e.g. emergency dept, inpatient, hospital consults, treatment resistant depression and many others). I believe every individual is deserving of quality care. Hablo español

My approach to therapy

My style is evidenced based, the decisions made in your care will always have supported research behind them. I believe in a team work approach to patients care. Together we will always discuss the reasoning for the treatment plan. You will always feel you have someone who cares by your side, because I do.

What you can expect from me

The first sessions can always be more challenging timing wise due to a provider trying to capture as much of a patient's life events within a short period together. Despite this, you can expect as information is collected, I will be mentally capturing and strategizing the best treatment plan before our session ends. By the conclusion of our first session you will likely find a connection and comfortable working together. Based on feedback from my patients, follow-up visits only feel that much more comfortable and described as an appointment being looked forward to. I hope you too feel the same.
