Great to meet you!

Sometimes in life we run into times that are hard to navigate alone; entering a new phase in life, getting through a break-up or trouble in a relationship, communicating with one another, anger, life transitions, parenting issues and/or blended families. Possibly you, your child or you both have ADHD? I can help with tools for focus and tips for making your day start and go more smoothly, to include that troublesome homework time. Experiencing parenting issues, anxiety and/or depression, I can help you and/or your family work things out and get to a better place.

In these times I am here to help: VideoConnect sessions available. I am experienced with individual and family counseling, with specialty in trauma, anxiety and depression. Sometimes life gets to be overwhelming or too much & we need the assistance from someone without judgement to help us get back on our feet & moving in the right direction. I can help.

As a mother of 4 vastly different and wonderful children in a blended family. I can help with parenting, family matters, individual therapy, grief counseling and specialize in anxiety and depression. Contact me to get a feel for the counselor I am and see the direction your life can take because choosing the right counselor is key to the process.

My approach to therapy

I believe that you need to look at the person as a whole in order to see how their symptoms are playing out in their life. This is done from a person centered approach. I specialize in anxiety, depression and trauma. It is important to me to be able to help you move through the difficult times in your life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away homework, so to speak. I ask clients to work on things between sessions in order for you to be able to know how to work through the specifics and build your tool box of strategies and skills to use to handle situations that come up in life.
