Great to meet you!

Most of my clients are people who have lost sight of how awesome they actually are whether that be due to living neurodivergently in a neurotypical world, going against the rigid grains of society, dealing with trauma, coping with an unhealthy relationship, managing a chronic illness, or managing a mental health disorder. They are people looking to make sense of their realities and to learn how to harness their strengths to supersede any difficulties. My clients are mostly adolescents and adults. However, I have a long history with children and parents, and I will consider children who are capable of handling the telehealth format.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years in the social work field. I create safe spaces for clients to share, discover, and learn without judgment. I take an empowerment approach with my clients, so they may develop their efficacy and esteem. I believe in collaborating with my clients to create a strong foundation for them to learn and grow upon.

I'm a professional yet laid back therapist. I have lived experience as well as academic expertise, so I am able to relate and empathize as a survivor and as a therapist.

My approach to therapy

I take an empowerment approach, so clients may develop their efficacy and esteem. I am passionate about assisting people in making sense of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, especially those related to trauma. As a result, I utilize CBT, narrative, and somatic techniques to assist clients in their processing their trauma experiences.

What you can expect from me

I believe in collaborating with my clients to create a strong foundation for them to learn and grow upon, so they can implement skills independently. This includes providing resources to aid clients in dismantling environmental and societal barriers that prevent social and emotional growth and providing education and skills to teach clients how to care for themselves and to manage both their inner and outer realities.
