I specialize in working with adults, adolescents and families in the area of childhood and adult trauma, addiction/substance abuse, eating disorders, and working with childhood/adult victims of narcissistic/antagonistic abuse/domestic violence and individuals involved with the family and/or dependency court system.
I use EMDR and the cutting-edge therapeutic modality of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART offers the potential for rapid and permanent resolution to trauma and other types of distress in a safe and effective manner. ART allows the individual to gain insight and resolve past issues/traumas. I am a certified Trauma Sensitive Somatic Practitioner and a certified trauma-focused hypnotherapist which allows a client to access their subconscious to address deeper, core issues as well as aiding in changing beliefs, habits and behaviors.
My specialty is complex trauma recovery for adults with trauma occurring as an adult or child to include abuse, domestic violence, neglect/abandonment, adoption, eating disorders, victims of narcissistic/antagonistic abuse, coercive control and traumas that may have occurred while on the job as a first responder or military personnel. I utilize different therapeutic modalities to include Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, Trauma-Informed Hypnotherapy, trauma sensitive somatic practices and expressive arts therapy techniques.
