Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. I graduated with my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2018. Since this time I have worked with adolescence in a day treatment center and also on an individual basis. Previous to becoming a therapist I worked as a social worker at a homeless shelter for youth and also at a group home for adults with developmental disabilities. I love working with a variety of ages and families. I also have experience working with couples to address relationships stressors.

My approach to therapy

My focus when clients often is relational based. I believe that trust within a therapeutic setting is important and allows more freedom to explore different areas of your life. I also think very systemically and think connecting past and present is important. Finally, sprinkling in some skills with dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive behavior therapy allows you to feel confident while coping with intense emotions.

What you can expect from me

In your first session you can expect me to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. Explore your wants and needs for therapy as well as for your life in general. You always have the right to not answer any question you might not be ready for.
