Great to meet you!

I believe the best psychiatric care begins with listening. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and involved in every treatment decision. I specialize in psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adolescents and adults, with a focus on treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis.

While our visits are supportive and collaborative, I am not a therapist and do not provide weekly psychotherapy. Instead, I specialize in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management, and I frequently collaborate with therapists when patients benefit from both services.

Whether you're seeking treatment for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, or another mental health concern, we'll work together to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values.

My approach to therapy

My approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and centered on the whole person. Medication can be an important part of treatment, but it is only one piece of the picture. I also consider how sleep, movement, nutrition, stress, relationships, and other lifestyle factors may be affecting your mental health.

I believe treatment should be individualized rather than one-size-fits-all. We'll regularly review your progress, discuss whether your medications are helping, and make thoughtful adjustments together. When clinically appropriate, I also support responsible deprescribing as part of shared decision-making.

What you can expect from me

You can expect appointments that are thoughtful and collaborative. My goal is for you to leave each visit feeling heard, with a clear understanding of your diagnosis, treatment options, and next steps.

Rather than simply treating symptoms, we'll work together to help you build lasting mental health. Progress may include improving sleep, reducing anxiety or depression, increasing resilience, strengthening daily routines, or finding the right balance with medication. My hope is that you'll leave each appointment feeling supported, informed, and moving in the right direction.
