Great to meet you!

Life can bring seasons of uncertainty, change, and challenges that leave you feeling overwhelmed or unsure of your next steps. You may be looking for a space where you can feel heard, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and work toward becoming the person you want to be. Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve support that honors your experiences and meets you where you are.

I have experience supporting children, adults, and families through a variety of life challenges, with a special passion for working with women ages 18 and older as they navigate life transitions, pursue personal growth, and move toward healing. My approach to care is holistic, recognizing the connection between emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. Together, we can explore your unique needs, build on your strengths, and identify meaningful steps toward greater wellness, balance, and fulfillment.

My goal is to provide compassionate, individualized support that empowers you to navigate challenges, deepen your self-awareness, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

My approach to therapy

You may be navigating a season of change, struggling with recurring thoughts or relationship patterns, or simply trying to better understand yourself and find a greater sense of peace. Whatever brings you to therapy, you deserve a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood without judgment. My approach is flexible yet intentional, allowing us to work collaboratively while providing the structure and guidance needed to help you move toward your goals.

I have experience working with children, adults, and families through a variety of life challenges, and I believe therapy should be tailored to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), systems theory, psychodynamic theory, and solution-focused therapy to guide our work together. Depending on what you are experiencing, we may explore how your thoughts influence your emotions and behaviors, examine how past experiences and relationship dynamics affect your present, identify recurring patterns, or focus on practical solutions and achievable steps toward change. Through this process, we can work to strengthen your coping skills, deepen your self-awareness, and build on the strengths you already possess.

I also recognize that your personal values and beliefs can be an important part of your healing journey. For clients who identify as Christian and wish to incorporate their faith into therapy, I offer Christian counseling that integrates biblical principles and spiritual reflection with mental health support.

My goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges, make sense of your experiences, and work toward greater emotional well-being, personal growth, and a more fulfilling life. You do not have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy; we can take the process one step at a time, at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

I imagine that clients new to therapy may feel a mixture of nervousness, vulnerability, curiosity, and hope. My hope is that therapy is an opportunity to feel that you don't have to navigate your struggles alone. I would also hope and expect you to feel heard, validated, understood, and comfortable enough to be yourself.

During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, and complete the initial intake process. This is also an opportunity for you to share any concerns, ask questions, and begin identifying your goals for therapy. Before we wrap up, we’ll discuss next steps and scheduling so we can establish a plan that best supports your needs and healing journey.
