Great to meet you!

Licensed as a Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor (LPCC-S) in Kentucky, I have over 25 years of professional counseling work experience with military and civilian clients. My passion for serving children and families through counseling and community service took flight almost 30 years ago when I volunteered at an inner city after school program. I earned a BA in Social Science/Sociology from the University of Hawaii-West O'ahu and a MS in Guidance and Counseling from Austin Peay State University. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision.

My experience includes counseling clients with Trauma/Posttraumatic Stress, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Stress and Anxiety, Grief, Relationship Issues, and Low Self-Esteem/Confidence. Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapy are two main theoretical approaches from which I work. My training, skills, and approach to therapy are best suited to treat mood disorders, trauma (sexual and domestic violence, in particular), family systems, and adolescents/teens.
