Great to meet you!

I started my professional career as a middle school teacher, which led me to pursuit of counseling. I studied first at Texas A&M University then went on to Texas State University for my Master's in Counseling and Guidance. I have been working with clients from adolescent to adult for over twelve years. I frequently treat clients with symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief and loss and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I use the model of client centered therapy in my practice. I believe that you are the expert of your own story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming challenges.

What you can expect from me

I believe in creating a safe place for the client - one of trust, nonjudgmental regard and empathy. I feel that we all need an opportunity to be heard and acknowledged in our struggles to be whole.
