Great to meet you!

I’m Renee Swanigan, LPC, a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s in Counseling and many years supporting children, teens, adults, and families. I create a compassionate, collaborative space to address anxiety, emotional regulation, relationships, and life transitions with practical, strengths-based tools for growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and growth-oriented. I focus on creating emotional safety so clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. I view therapy as a partnership, helping clients reflect on patterns, strengthen resilience, and move toward the best version of themselves.

I use a strengths-based perspective and practical strategies to help clients not only gain insight, but also create meaningful, lasting change in their daily lives.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive space to share what brings you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll talk about your concerns, goals, and history, and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—just come as you are.
