Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Renee Wallace and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I enjoy working with adults and teens navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, trauma, major life transitions, and am LGBTQ+ friendly. I use approaches grounded in humanistic and acceptance-based principles to support individuals with exploring their experiences, building self-understanding, and reconnecting with their inner strengths. My background includes experience in crisis intervention, residential, and intensive outpatient treatment.

I take an empathetic, and trauma informed approach and believe in meeting clients where they are at. I also strongly value creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and free from judgement. Everybody is unique and together we will find what works best for your specific wants and needs from therapy.

My goal is to support my clients in developing practical tools, fostering compassion for parts shaped by past trauma, and building a more meaningful and values-driven life.

My approach to therapy

I support clients who are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and life changes. During our sessions, we will explore presenting problems and collaborate on treatment that fits your needs. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

I provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy that honors your unique experiences and fosters healing at your own pace. Using Trauma-Informed CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindful Self-Compassion, I help clients understand how past experiences influence current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, build psychological flexibility, reduce self-criticism and increase self-understanding.
