Great to meet you!

My work is grounded in a strength‐focused and collaborative approach. I believe every person has internal resources that can be uncovered, strengthened, and used to create meaningful change.

I help clients explore their internal experiences—how they think, feel, and relate to others and the world around them. Increasing self‐awareness is often the first step toward healing, clarity, and more empowered decision‐making. My goal is to guide clients in identifying what they need, discovering solutions that fit their lives, and building confidence in their ability to navigate difficult moments.

Above all, I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and encouraged as they move toward greater well‐being.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in teaching practical and effective coping strategies, with a strong emphasis on emotional regulation skills, many of which are grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I strive to provide tools that clients can begin integrating into their daily lives so they feel more grounded, capable, and supported. My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, OCD, and transitional life challenges. I have also spent many years working extensively with adolescents and young adults, helping them navigate the unique emotional and developmental demands of these stages.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a first session that feels welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely collaborative. I use a casual, down‐to‐earth style—and a bit of humor when it feels appropriate—to help clients feel at ease as we get to know each other. My goal is to create an environment where people can speak openly without fear of judgment.

During our initial meeting, we’ll explore what what you’ve been experiencing internally, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I focus on understanding your strengths, your patterns, and the ways you relate to yourself and others. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and achievable, whether that involves building emotional regulation skills, reducing anxiety, navigating a transition, or simply gaining clarity.

By the end of the first session, clients typically leave with a sense of direction, a clearer understanding of how we’ll work together, and the reassurance that they’re in a supportive space designed to help them grow.
