Great to meet you!

I am a West Texas native, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, counselor educator, and private-practice owner. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma-related concerns, emotional dysregulation, communication difficulties, and relationship challenges. I have expertise in supporting women through major life transitions, including the emotional and psychological changes associated with midlife, perimenopause, menopause, caregiving, career demands, evolving relationships, and shifts in identity. I offer a compassionate, respectful space where you can speak honestly, feel understood, and begin moving toward greater clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, strengths-based, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, emotional-regulation strategies, and skills-based interventions. Together, we may identify unhelpful patterns, explore emotional triggers, strengthen coping and communication skills, establish healthier boundaries, and develop strategies you can use in everyday life. Therapy is not about telling you how to live—it is about helping you understand yourself more clearly, make intentional decisions, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, the concerns affecting you most, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will ask questions about your experiences, relationships, strengths, current stressors, and relevant history so that I can better understand your needs. We will begin identifying priorities and developing goals for treatment while also discussing what you can expect from the therapeutic process. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. The first session is an opportunity for us to become acquainted, address your questions, and determine how I can best support you.
