Great to meet you!

I believe that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, curiosity, and collaboration. I take a holistic approach to mental health, recognizing that medications are only one part of treatment. When medication is appropriate, I prescribe thoughtfully and work closely with you to ensure it fits your goals. I also have a special interest in deprescribing—helping patients safely reduce or discontinue medications when they are no longer needed or when a simpler treatment plan may be the better option.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and comfortable exploring your experiences without judgment. I believe that each person has an innate capacity for healing. My role is not to tell you who to become, but to help remove the obstacles that make it difficult to hear your own inner wisdom. Together, we'll examine the biological, psychological, social, and lifestyle factors that shape your mental health, while also making room for questions of meaning, purpose, identity, and personal growth that are often central to healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to understand you as a whole person. We will explore your current concerns, what brought you to seek care at this point in your life, and how your mental health experiences have evolved over time. I will review your psychiatric history, symptoms, previous treatments, and the factors that influence your well-being, including your relationships, lifestyle, and personal values. Together, we will identify your goals for treatment and begin developing a personalized plan.
