Great to meet you!

I'm Renzo Gobea, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 14 years of experience serving individuals and families across Georgia.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients from different life stages—people from all walks of life—working through challenges such as trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and various adjustment issues. My approach is rooted in a deep belief in the human capacity for resilience and healing. I see therapy as a journey of rediscovering one's strengths and values, especially during life’s most painful or uncertain moments.

My approach to therapy

My practice integrates a range of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Individual Psychology, and Family Systems Theory. These methods are not only ones I’ve applied successfully with clients—they’ve also shaped my own life and healing. I’ve worked extensively with women, men, teens, couples, and families to strengthen emotional flexibility, build connection, and promote lasting well-being.

What you can expect from me

Many of the struggles we face are tied to our relationships—either in their complexity or absence. I help my clients move through the emotional "stuckness" that often emerges during key periods of their lives. Together, we explore areas of hurt and confusion to foster insight, growth, and meaningful change.
